At around quarter past 3 pm Monday evening, a group of 10-12 Jubo League activists under Tipu’s leadership attacked the Shaheed Minar at the Shaheediya Aliya Madrassa in Sherpur. News agency Manab Zamin reported that concerned members of the general public obstructed the activists while they were attacking the main pillar of the newly built Shaheed Minar and chased them.
